Day 01- HOME - COCHIN

Arrive Cochin on arrival transfer to Hotel. After noon sightseeing of Cochin. Cochin is known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea," Kochi (Cochin) entices with a rich cultural legacy dating back to the 15th century. Visit its most significant historic sites, including its ancient Jew Town, Jewish synagogue (Closed on Friday/Saturday/Sabat & Jewish holidays) the Dutch Palace(Closed on Friday), St. Francis Church and Fort Cochin, the oldest European settlement in India & Watch the Chinese Fishing Nets. . Overnight at Cochin

Day 02- COCHIN – MUNNAR

After breakfast drive to Munnar. Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streamed, mudrapuzha, nallathanni and kundala. 1600 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the east while british govt. in south india. sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular hill station. among the exotic flora found in the forests and grass land here is the neelakurinji. this flower, which bathes the hills in blue every twelve years. Later visit Munnar A little beyond lays Anaimudi, South India's highest peak. In the vicinity is the Eravikulam National Park, the home of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr that roams on a stretch of grassland or is seen climbing the pinnacles of the undulating hills. Day 03 MUNNAR – PERIYAR

Morning after Proceed to Periyar Thekkady check in to the Hotel and relax. Evening go for the Wild life sanctuary by boat safari, spice shopping & back to the hotel and relax. Periyar sanctuary spread over an area of 777 sq km, has about 35 tigers and leopards. However, sighting a tiger in Periyar is a rare occurrence. The park encompasses a 26 sq km artificial lake and is the home of sambars, wild boars, elephants and antelopes, which can be occasionally seen on the banks of the river during a boat cruise. Periyar, otherwise, blessed by Nature has enormous tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantations and has lush green hills. Afternoon boat cruise on Lake Periyar to view the wildlife. Day 04 PERIYAR- ALLEPPEY

Morning proceed to Alleppey check in to the houseboat. Kettuvalloms or houseboats (riceboats) are country boats that were used in the early days for the transport of goods from the isolated interior villages to the towns. With the advent of roads, bridges and ferry services, gradually the kettuvalloms went off the scene. Now these kettuvalloms are back again as a major tourist attraction. A ride on a kettuvallom is a fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. House boat is about 67 feet in length and has a width of around 13 feet in the middle. Day 05 ALLEPPEY - KOVALAM

Proceed to Kovalam. The world renowned beach resort of Kerala, Kovalam is situated 16 km south of Trivendrum and is one of the best beaches in India. On account of its natural location, it affords facilities for safe sea bath. A rocky promontory jutting into the sea renders the beach safe for sea bathing even in rough weather. Day 06 KOVALAM – KANYAKUMARI -KOVALAM

After breakfast full day excursion to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari situated at the shore on the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean & the Arabian Sea. got its name from the Kumari Amman or the Kanyakumari Temple According to the local lore, Kanya Devi, an avatar of Parvati, was to marry Shiva, but he failed to show up to the wedding. The rice & other grains meant for the wedding feast remained uncooked. Today tourists can buy tiny stones which look like rice, in remembrance of the marriage that was never solemnized. Day 07 KOVALAM – TRIVANDRUM-HOME

Morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Trivandrum (16kms/30 minutes) visiting the ancient temple of Sri Padmanabhaswamy is one of the major attractions in the city of Thiruvananthapuram. Napier Museum shows a harmonious blending of Kerala, Mughal, Chinese and Italian architectural styles. Sri Chitra Art Gallery has a good collection Tanjore, Mughal, and Rajput schools of art.
