Arrive Cochin on arrival transfer to Hotel. After noon sightseeing of Cohin . Cochin is known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea," Kochi (Cochin) entices with a rich cultural legacy dating back to the 15th century. Visit its most significant historic sites, including its ancient Jew Town,Jewish synagogue (Closed on Friday/Saturday/Sabat & Jewish holidays) the Dutch Palace(Closed on Friday), St. Francis Church and Fort Cochin, the oldest European settlement in India & Watch the Chinese Fishing Nets. . After breakfast drive to Munnar. Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streamed, mudrapuzha, nallathanni and kundala. 1600 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the east while british govt. in south india. sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular hill station. among the exotic flora found in the forests and grass land here is the neelakurinji. this flower, which bathes the hills in blue every twelve years. overnight at hotel.

Day 03 MUNNAR Morning visit Munnar.

Munnar, is the nature-lover's paradise. Snuggling in the green and serene Kannan Devan Hills, lies the quite and restful resort of Munnar. Panoramic views of low-flying clouds and mist filled valleys make it a pretty little heaven with a cool bracing climate. It was opened up out of virgin forests a century ago by pioneering planters. Within its remote and elderly churches - gracious, stonestructures with ancient chandeliers and rosewood pews. A little beyond lays Anaimudi, South India's highest peak. In the vicinity is the Eravikulam National Park, the home of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr that roams on a stretch of grassland or is seen climbing the pinnacles of the undulating hills Rest of the day at leisure. Breakfast on Alleppey - The coastal town of Alleppey on the Arabian Sea is the Venice of the East, for the numerous canals that meander through the town. Bathing in the backwaters on the Vemband Lake is refreshing. This town holds a thrilling event of snake-boat race every year in August. It is also known for its cashew nuts, coir trade, rice, pepper crops & coconutsOvernight at Hotel.


After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari on arrival check in at Hotel. Kanyakumari situated at the shore on the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean & the Arabian Sea. got its name from the Kumari Amman or the Kanyakumari Temple According to the local lore, Kanya Devi, an avatar of Parvati, was to marry Shiva, but he failed to show up to the wedding. The rice & other grains meant for the wedding feast remained uncooked. Today tourists can buy tiny stones which look like rice, in remembrance of the marriage that was never solemnized. Morning visit Kanyakumari - visit Kanyakumari Temple: The temple overlooks the shoreline. It is dedicated to Parvati as Devi Kanya, the Virgin Goddess who did penance to obtain the hand of Lord Shiva. The deity, Devi Kanyakumari is' the protector of India's shores' has an exceptionally brilliant diamond on her nose ring which is supposed to shine out to sea. Also visit Vivekananda Memorial, about 500 meters away from mainland. This memorial stands on one of two rocks separated by about 70 meters. It was built in the year 1970, memorial is dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, the greatest social reformer. He was supposed to have medicated on the rock where the memorial stands today. A meditation hall is also attached with the memorial. It houses a statue of Vivekananda. The divine foot print 'Pada Parai' of Devi is also seen here. Ferry service is available to reach the memorial.
